hello again, i'm thinking about putting a rover 3.5 ltr v8 in my surf and was wondering if anyone has done this? just want to know what mods have to be made to get one to fit. cheers, huey

Probably best to stick with petrol to avoid lots of changes to things like fuel tank etc.
Get an older v8 - very simple with none of those new fangled computer ECU thingies.
Get in touch with surfenstein - he's in Dorsest too!

Well i picked up the truck and she's to good to break, engines knackered.
Anyone have any suggestions on the cheapist petrol engine i can get that will marry up with the auto gearbox. And where to start looking. Cheers.www.cnpbetterhomes.co.uk
