brake warning light

my handbake warning light is on even if the brake isnt off. I have checked the sensor and its ok and its not a fuse. sometimes when brakeing hard and not tuching the handbrake the light go off and when accelerate than on again.
when i press the sensor(handbrake off) the light goes a bit darker...

now the Cruise Control isnt working, is that because of that light?

99% of the time it's the float switch sticking in the brake fluid reservoir. The other 1% is to do with a vacuum problem.

Also as your brakes wear down your fluid level drops, So check that as well!

common problem, I learned to live with mine after checking the fluid level was OK. Its like an old friend now, glowing in the dark sometimes bright, sometimes not so bright. Keeps the seatbelt warning light company cos I always forget to put my belt on!
