  • Air Pipe Mod

    Finally did it!!

Took the OE Air pipe off and did Corey's Modification.

    Definate improvement.
Quicker throttle response, more power at the bottom end, the only downside is that there is more induction noise but I can live with that.
Since doing the exhaust, plugs, air filter & now this, there has definately been an improvement in power & response.
Now if I can only find a way of stopping...................... ..................
    NO WORRIES!

Is there any way to do it without taking the pipe to a pro?

I made my own (with some major assistance for my mate who has Tig welding capabilities) but you should be able to do it yourself. The downside is that the fuel consumption is worse than every but the grin I get when hoofing it to the floor is well worth it

I'll take some pics when I get an opportunity and post them

        Thought about discs all round?
And on another note the bit of pipe you made , could you not just get a rubber section of pipe and do the mod?
