It just goes on! More issues.
Been sorting out fitting the IS200 seats in properly.
They had been fitted with the front bolts in and one of the rear brackets cut off and re-welded on the side to line up with bolt hole. This meant the other rear bracket/runner covered the bolt hole. Nothing had been done to this bracket ( so only 3 bolts fitted to each seat). And because the original brackets had been used, the rear of the seat sits too low and when the seat is all the way back it digs into the carpet.
I've fitted the brackets from the original seats which act as stand-offs and raise the back of the runners.
Seat wiring - as well as having connector blocks beneath the seats (now soldered and wrapped ), the cable used to earth the power for the seats was just stripped, formed into a loop and soldered and bolted down - no ring terminal used here!
