Hey Vince great to see you again last weekend, and can't wait to see the results of your efforts!

Just wanted to check what the mount holes distance was for the fairlead on the bumper for the winch hole. After looking at the cost of a Warn winch synthetic rope and fairlead and getting a bit of a surprise(Warn Synthetic Rope Replacement ) I did a bit of searching and came across this place that sells Armortek Rope and fairleads themselves with different bolt distances. Cheaper option for stronger rope - Result

Can't get at the bumper to measure the hole spacing as it's buried with all your conversion stuff in the back of your truck!
I was able to measure the fairlead on the winch though and it's 250mm centres.

    Hope that helps.

And to answer the first part of your text earlier, I very much doubt it. Possibly the week-end after.

        Marvelous!

Are you going to replace the radiator? I've noticed it's been repaired in the past.

Better had I suppose - not a lot of point going to all this trouble and have the radiator pack up on me halfway down the M4! Any links for a good one?

That doesn't look to shabby at all Vince

These pics show it way better than the one's on your phone the other day.

All you need now is a clear perspex bonnet to show it off

I have a half finished pickup that would suit that lump nicely.
                Lovely job as always.

                  I am impressed.
                  Lots.

I think this is the colour scheme I like the best so far.

It would sit very nice in my black truck.

                  Quick q
is the air con pump used or is it easier to leave it in place due to the serpentine belt?

It is going into a black truck, well it will be black eventually. I'll be spraying the engine bay glossy black though.

Left on just for the belt mainly. A shorter belt doesn't wrap around the pullies enough IMO.
The pump and wiring will be left intact in case the air-con is needed in the future. Just need to cover the ports for now.

                      Thanks both.

FYI, the colour is hi-vis jacket yellow, the camera doesn't pick it up very well.

Not sure, but it will be more than stock due to the Tundra headers and
                          it'll be controlled by this....

                            that does look quite amazing.

I like it when you say 'the camera doesn't pick it up very well' -so in reality it's an even brighter yellow?!

I agree a perspex bonnet is the only way to go - why hide it !

Got to love those shiny headers too....

It's great that you're running an aftermarket ECU. Oh the remapping joy to be had. That will be fun

No idea how easy it is to get the factory ECU to run it once you've stripped out all the wires you don't need but i imagine a shedload more hassle to remap than the aftermarket ECU.

                              Nice one
