R these two vacuums ok to go together?
One is at the back of the plenum the other is coming off the fuel rail diaphram.

Thats the fuel pressure regulator, it needs a vacuum supply.

            • Looking good

Have you found you have enough room for the electric fan without chopping the surf?

                Excellent!

One error I can see though, that coolant port you have capped off next to the thermostat housing, needs to link up to the spout near the passenger side engine mount. Not the block drain, the hose fitting that originally went to the oil cooler under the oil filter.
FYI. Soarers don't have engine oil coolers like the LS400 does.

                • Ok cheers Vince, is not possible to cap both off?

                  Sylux
Yes it fits ok although I had to remove the original bonnet catch support to make room, I installed a piece of metal in it's place and it feels just as solid as it did.

Thanks for the heads up buddy

They need to be linked together so the coolant can flow properly.

                      • So big start day tmrw!
I'm pretty much wired in apart from the wires around the steering column.
Is there anything I need to be checking? apart from the obvious ie sump plug in, oil/coolant in.
Will the bits your doin Vince stop me from starting?
I know I should know this by now but is the surf ecu staying right?
                        Cheers buddy

The Surf ECU is redundant now, so either bin it or sell it.

Connect the fusebox power wire to the battery, the permanent 12v wire and the ignition 12v wire, and the crank signal wire to the multiplug under the steering column, switch on ignition and make sure the check light illuminates.
If it does then the ECU is powered up and ready for engine fire up.

Did you connect the oil pressure switch wire?
                          Fuel pump wired?

The transfer wiring doesn't affect engine starting/driving, but you will have no speedo.

p.s. Those plugs haven't arrived yet by the way.
