      • OK! it's not funny anymore, Quit teasing!

Didn't hang around fitting the lockers then! works well.

That Engine bay has filled up a bit! and I envy any ramblers that you run over in testing, the underside looks cleaner than our cutlery!

Shame... that air filter looks good in there as well
Will it not be a squeeze to get t'other bits in there?

I've had a measure up and all I'll need to do is mount the power steering reservoir somewhere else and shift the fusebox over.

            • Much easier to write it than actually do it methinks, got to leave room for the battery. :

              • Engine/immobilser wiring was doing my head in today, so I drilled all the holes for the spoiler and it's wiring and replaced the number plate bulbs with LEDs...

The shabby condition of the number plate lets the overall look down now though.

Oh and here's what your reverse lights look like now......

Spray and fit the spoiler tomorrow, got to go out and get the paint mixed up first.

                • Whey! BRIGHT and shiny

I promise to get a new num plate made up for it as soon as its back.

BTW what's that in the glare? is it 4.0! hehe...

                  Love it!

This is looking superb now, top work Vince. Can't wait to see the obligatory video at the end with the rumbling V8 sound-heaven. Those wheels look amazing, got cooper mud tyres on mine-wish I'd bought those BF Goodrich's now.

                    • Love these threads - so rare to see work off this quality with real passion and care showing through.

                      • Tired old black spoiler....

Now a shiny 179 Grey spoiler....

This was lurking under the truck together with about 2 kilos of dried mud......

                        Cleaned up OK though...

Don't know what the 74l means, 74 Litres?
                        The fuel filter was spotless!

Walbro 255 lph fuel pump installed.....

                        • Coming together very nicely, top work Vince. You do end up with a cracking amount of bang for your buck when they are done as well as this.

                          • Blurry lovely mate, Couldn't recommend people doing this more. The care and attention Vince puts in is astonishing, can't wait for the first start up! Is Mr Ballsy the resident test driver now?

Hope there weren't too many furry friends left in the spoiler. First time for everything but deworming that thing was a joke...

I can't see it being 74l though, filling it up from near enough dead empty you won't get much more than 60l in there.

Is Lexurf X going to be a 3rd Gen then?

                              More Tyres.
