Sorry,I was on the ford excursion site. They are trying to tell me that I wouldn't be able to make backplate...apart from the ones I made.....but vince, yes, I will be replacing the shocks, so feel free to chop away sir.

welded 3 hangers onto a hummer exhaust
refitted 16 seat belts
welded some broken outriggers
removed both wishbones one side
replaced lower/upper ball one side
replaced tre and control arm one side
presented a hummer for mot at a vosa psv/hgv station( it passed)
carried on rebuilding the stripped side.....
And I'm knackered.

Thanks Brian. It looks loads better than those photos now, with everything properly fitted and all the wiring hidden. Gone back to my hot-rod roots with this engine. Should have it fully installed this week-end.
