  • New problem

    Hi Guys,

Now I already have a new problem at the fat,

And when I drive and the engine is cold, everything is normal as it comes to temperature, it howls when I reach the 2100 rotation, at 2300-2500 turns it is quiet again. I have no power loss, no smoke, nothing ... Even if I turn the engine off comes a short howl, exactly at the time when the engine runs out.

What is it now again, I am so slow and perplexed.

    greeting

have you checked all the vacuum pipes and the pipe from the rocker cover to the turbo?

Since in the workshop the very much forgot to assemble as the the head gasket repaired, I have a week ago vacuum lines with a plan from the internet itself reconstructed. Maybe I did something wrong, but before everything was OK.

Have a plan for the 3.0 liters

      Thanks and regards

I'm not quite sure what you're asking here, but if I read it correctly you want to know why the fan makes a howling noise from cold starting up to 2100 rpm and then goes quiet? This is perfectly normal for a viscous fan coupling. If I have misunderstood your post then please ignore this reply.

          Hello,

please the late answer, but a lot of work excuses just.

If the engine is warm (normal temperature) and I gas and come with 2000-2200 (speed) rotations per minute, the turbocharger briefly howls. It is a right short howling noise. As said only if the engine is warm what is this?? if the Turbo is broken yet

            Hello

So here's an update to the matter. I put the Hilux in a workshop, (even if I don't trust a garage anymore) but I was in the end with my Latin.

As it turned out, the turbocharger was incorrectly connected (water cooling) The hose was torn inside (possibly happened during assembly) and had reduced the aperture. So turbo damage. The engine would have needed a new head and the engine block would have to be ground. Costs 2500 to 3500 euro. Even if it hurt, I sold it. It really hurt to see him ride on a hanger of it..

Now I have some parts in the basement, and you would like to pass them on.

But I do this on the selling issue

Thanks to everyone with your tips and help
