My aircon wasn't working when I bought the truck and when the weather started warming up I decided to have a go at getting it working. So I took it to the garage where they tested the system for leaks etc. and re-gassed it. Unfortunately it still didn't work because there was no power to the magnetic clutch on the compressor. The guy ran 12v to the compressor and it spun up nicely so I know that works so I took it home to track down the electrical fault. I found that there was a relay missing (someone had wired a manual switch for the electric aircon fan into where it goes so I took the wiring out and put a relay in) and eventually found the 10a fuse behind the glove box had blown. Success! It was now blowing nice and cold
Then the weather cooled down so I didn't use it again until yesterday when I found it wasn't blowing cold again.
The compressor is still turning, the light is steady green, just no coldness.
Before I go back to the garage, is there anything else I can check?
