4x4 actuator

Got my 3rd gen on the ramps today to get a good look at what's been going on with it not wanting to engage into 4 wheel drive when I press in the button on the small lever , when looking underneath I noticed that the actuator was very wet , leaking with some sort of oil or something so I am wondering if this could be my problem , any thoughts anyone , thanks

as far as i know its a very common place for it to f**k up so i say take it off take a look and let me know cos i need to do mine hahahahahahaha
