vibration from the rear

HI All

And yet another problem. F**k Sake.

Driving back from town car drove smooth but after a stop got going again only to start hearing a vibration noise from the back. This developed into a harsh rumble vibration as you increased speed. When you take foot off accelerator vibration goes. Got under the car this morning to check for movement in UJ joints but they were tight...couldn't move them at all to check for slop. Any guidance and help would be much appreciated from anyone especially peeps who have encountered this and fixed it

Did you check the prop UJ's? I know you said ujs, prop included?

Someone on here had their prop off years ago, and was driving around in front wheel drive, so if it needs to come off you're not immobile. You will need to search for it though mate, sorry.

Was the rear ujs were buggered...changed over now smooth as silk.
