Hi Guys,
I have a bizarre problem with the reverse lights on my truck. They had been quite intermittent, so I fitted a new reverse switch yesterday which seemed to fix the issue. The passenger side reverse light illuminated and stayed on but the drivers side bulb was out, so I replaced that today. The issue now however, is that the drivers side reverse light stays on but the passenger side will not illuminate. I have swapped the bulbs around, which did not fix the issue and I have also tried removing the drivers side reverse bulb again too, but still nothing to the passenger side.
How are the reverse lights / rear clusters wired up? Is there a common ground between the tail lights and the reverse lamps? Is the reverse light +12V feed parallel or in series between the two at the back?
Any help would be great.
Thanks,
-Tom
