Gearbox help needed lost 4th gear

Hi all

I am very much in need of some advice

My kzn130 gearbox seems to be playing havoc.

It is really slow changing from 1st to 2nd, then third i have to take my foot of the gas pedal, amd itll change, but no 4th gear of o/d

Could this be ecu related or is the box fubar? I have a spare box, so i can change it if i have too.. The atf was flushed last year and is clean,,,

I really appreciate any help as i am very wound up about the fecking thing right now

unplug the solenoids and try driving it in manual.

L=1st
2=2nd
D=Overdrive

Apparently.

That will at least tell you that the solenoids are working, box is fine and problem is electrical.

I tried my mates ecu and the problem went away!

So duff ecu!

He had a spare which was no good because one of the resisters had blown when his spill valve failed, so we un soldered that resister from my ECU and put it into his dead spare one. So all working and back on the road again.

I am glad it was simple. Now got to find a spare ecu..
