Engine stalling

Hi All,

I have a 3l 2nd Gen, The engine starts up ok but then immediately dies so after changing the fuel filter all was well for about 4000 miles, the symptoms have now returned.
I pump the fuel filter primer until its hard and the engine starts up but only runs for about 3 seconds then dies.
Not sure if I have a fuel leak or how to go about locating it, or if the fuel pump is knackered.
Advice on what to check please.

air getting in to system if you pump it up and it starts
then stops and you have to pump again
its air getting in or a leak letting air in
could be anywhere form injectors to the tank
have fun

more than likely the filter primer, chec k the fuel line to the filter primer for damage, i would change the primer as the diaphram can perish.
