D4D surf?

Hi was wondering if anyone has put a D4D landcruiser engine into a surf (KZN185)
I know the prado or eailer landcruiser shares a lot with the surf but how compatible is it with the d4d colorado?
would there be much in the line of wiring issues (like going to fly by wire throttle etc)
Your thoughts please ...any info welcome

They did actually make 'em with that engine in the last few years of production IIRC.
