    Spain

Hi, and welcome to the forum, as you can see from my details, I am also in Spain, Costa del Sol area. Whereabouts are you? If you are reasonably close, I could assist you. I replaced mine last year, and probably took about 1 to 2 hours. Also update your details that appear on posts, so readers know what vehicle, engine etc, you are asking questions about. If you search glow plugs that will confirm what the ohms should be etc, but for the sake of a few euro you might as well change all of them.

        Glow plugs

Is this what I am looking for and what is the bar between them and what else has to be stripped off so they can be removed ie pipes etc.

The bar provides the power to the glow plugs, to make life easier, you'll need to remove the air pipe ( visible in the top left of your pic ), remove the top hats from the plugs ( the white top hat shaped things in the pic ). You might find that the little nuts under them stay in place ( this is normal, lol ). If this happens, I think the nuts are 8mm, very fiddly, try not to drop them. Once off the bar should just lift out of place giving access to the plugs, you'll need a long reach socket to remove the plugs. All in all, should take about an hour, if that.

You can take the exhaust crossover pipe off, from memory, it does make it easier if it's off

No, there's no gaskets in or on the crossover pipe
