Yesterday i decided id finally get around to changing my ATF.
Thought i would write a small writeup for anyone who wants to do this and isnt so sure
It is very very easy
I managed to get 20 litres ATF DEX 3 delivered from ebay by smith and allen for about £60
I ordered 2 x silverline measuring jugs for about a tenner.
I first checked the level (which was spot on)
What i did was to remove the sump plug so it drained into one jug, i managed to get 5 litres out in one hit, i then used a funnel i got from poundland, (come in a pack of 3, black yellow and red) which the end fits perfecty in the top of the gearbox dipstick tube..
I the proceeded to pour 5 litres in, but pour slowly (make sure the sump plug is back in first) and your done
Photo to compare my old and new..! Gear changes are as smooth as silk now!
My plan is to do this 3 more times so that all the fuid is foushed / cleaned
