Tailgate window regulator

Hi Folks,

Looks like the regulator is dead - teeth eroded so the (working) motor cannot engage properly.

Are they a common part between various models - or do I have to purchase one that is specific to the KZN130?

If you mean the actual motor as they tend to go before the mechanism.
The motor you can use from the passenger doors from the 2.4 or 3.0 2nd gen.A toyota hiace will fit,mr2 i believe and celica older shape but all from passenger doors

No, the motor has had my attention in the past and is working fine. It is the actual teeth on the regulator mechanism that have corroded and worn short enough not to engage (at the top of the closure).

Still keen to know if they are a part common to various models - or are KZN130 specific.
