Good evening,
Over the last couple of months my KZN130 has developed quite an annoying drone / whine, which becomes much more audible when the engine is under load / climbing hills etc. I have noticed over the last two days that power seems to have dropped off significantly which has also been backed up with a nice "spinning" metal to metal sound which can be heard once I come off the throttle. I am assuming that my turbo is on its last legs. There doesn't seem to be any oil being passed, but I'm almost certain that the bearings have collapsed. I was wondering if there are any guides / pictures anywhere of a turbo replacement on the 3.0? I've had a search but to no avail. I can't remove the elbow to check the spindle because everything is really difficult to get at!
Can anyone point me in the right direction before I start to tackle this?
