o ring size

Does any one know what size the thermostat o ring is on a 3l TD or do i just buy another thermostat to get an o ring.

You could measure it and buy the right size rubber and make a ring...

Is it not just a normal o ring, i'm going to be taking the thermostat cover off to do a coolant flush and just want a replacement gasket for when i put it back on, as far as i know the thermostat doesn't need changing. If it's not a standard o ring then it looks like i'll have to buy a thermostat which is an expensive way to get a gasket.

Thermostat is a critical part in the Surf cooling system. Yes a tad pricey, worth changing for peace of mind. Genuine stats are best

Good luck bleeding the system
