How to get veg oil in the tank

    Any tips on where to pick up suitable oil? I'm guessing used frying oil would work, after running through a decent filter.

      It doesn't have to cost !!
      Pillowcases n sheets make good filter material as do stockings/tights ...

        My heart warms with pride at the ingenuity of the forum

        I do end up alternating with veg oil, just cos I can't always be arsed to take veg oil on a long journey, so I guess that helps keep the fuel seals happy!

          As does a small yogurt pot of ATF (Automatic Transmission Fluid) mixed in with every top up
