Head coming off

I started stripping the head off my truck today, will order a new RT kit tomorrow.

My question is this, are there any other jobs that are made infinitely easier by the removal of the head? If there are, I'll do them too!

I'm going to change the 'stat, even though it's only about a year old, probably do the water pump too, the belt tensioner and pulley are new(ish), I'll fit new glow plugs and probably have the injectors done. Anything else to do whilst I'm in there?

Fit extended breather on top of gearbox.

Is that reachable when the head is off? It did cross my mind to do it, but I forgot to look.
