1996 KZN185 water pump

Hello folks,
I'm attempting to replace the water pump on my KZN185 motor, I've searched the threads and there appears to be plenty of info for the 2nd gen 3.0ltr but nothing for the 3rd gen 3.0ltr. Therefore Is the pump replacement similar to the 2nd gen model or is it more involving? the roughtrax pump appears to be supplied in two parts (please correct me if I'm wrong) i.e. pump + pump body, will I need to use the new pump body or will the replacement pump bolt straight onto the original body without any issues? any info would be much appreciated.

Its exactly the same, I rarely change the back half unless its shows serious pitting, if you don't change the back half its only a 1/2 hour job at worst.
