  • finding parts

just relised how hard it is to find specific parts for the surf.

had absolutly no joy in finding a stop solenoid.

so can these be refurbed easily and do they just unscrew from the pump.

looking at doing the job with pump still on, taking it all off will just add too much time to my day.

ok thansk for those. seen the ebay one but it is different, there are 2 wires coming from the solenoid.

the others are 12v but the surf runs a 3-5v power to solenoid, would these still work? also again its the 2 wires coming from the solenoid, could these be used and i can wire them up myself?

The 12v ones will just be Fuel Shut Off solenoids, you need a Spill Control Valve for a EFI Surf, its completely different.

Its not a 'Toyota only' thing, try finding a deisel specialist, Denso pumps go in lots of motors, they should be able to get any parts for the Pump.

I have got them from Toyota, but they are about £80.

ok there is a specialist near me i will try them first but if i have no joy you will be the first to know.

the surf is now off the road due to this as it is now unreliable enough that it may not start when out.
