Water pump replacement

Well finally got round to changing in my water pump, took about 4 hours but I took the radiator out and had lunch during the 4 hours .

The most difficult job was getting the fan bolts undone; think someone had put them in with something other than a 10mm spanner …..

With a 3.0 you do not have to disturb the Drive Belt (just in case someone asks).

The new pump from Roughtrax has a larger impeller, but that can only be a good think as it should move more water around the system.

Fingers crossed that’s stopped my water leak.

Opps no, spose should have but its very easy once you get past the concern thats its difficult.

I think that there are a few postings that will help if you need instructions, but I did it with a simple set of sockets and spanners.
