N/S front halfshaft????

Does anyone know of a good reason why i can't get the 6 nuts off the flange at the diff end???
I did the offside last weekend, came off fairly easy! (little tap with a hammer on an old 17mm spanner)

Tried 3 times now to get them off!! (even put a long tube over the ratchet handle for extra leverage!!!!)

They're not left hand threads or anything stupid are they??

When I replaced my front diff the other week I can't remember having any probs shifting the nuts, they're defo not opposite thread.

if they've never been off before you'll need quite a bit of leverage, I usually put the ring end of another spanner over the open end of the spanner on the nut to make it longer, then you'll get them off easily.
