Dont get me wrong.....I too have caned over £1500 on the car in the last 6 months...but only because I got it for free! I didnt foresee needing to put over a grand into the engine bay.....so I didnt keep the funds to do it. I say SOME because look on ebay and see how many are on there in bits etc etc...I can generalise because generally the normal man in the street WOULD simply scrap them...and you well know it. Our presence on this forum has already removed us from the norm...we love our cars and would fix them etc...why do you think I spent so much on the car????
