Problem Off set Air Filter pipe after Body lift

The lift we did has resulted in the air intake pipe, (which was split when I bought it and securely gaffa taped up) becoming unaligned with the air box, so the split is now an inch or so higher on one side than the other.
Never heard of this before, so assume i need a new pipe. Bushwhacker?
Thing is the new one will be under similar strains, so don't imagine it will last that long. Has anyone found a mod for this problem?

Wrapped flashbond around it, then loom tape over that. Will hold for a while, but could do with a proper solution. Other than snorks what have others done?

Thats a poss but i was actually thinking of getting a couple of meters of that stuff to funnel more cold air for the intakes on my Skyline, at 700bhp it needs alot of air!! IF i do this and i have a bit left over i'll let you know
otherwise yeah the tape on mine is beggining to get crispy again heheh so i could do with replacing the pipe!!
