KZN130 Front Axle

Hello,

I have searched (here, google, and ebay), but does anyone do a complete front axle assembly (ie with inner and outer CV joints)? I have a torn boot and for the effort of pulling it all apart I figure I might as well replace the entire assembly if the price is reasonable. I see they are sold in Oz and the US, but haven't seen a UK supplier.

the surfs don't have a solid axel.They have the diff and then the driveshafts.Its cheaper and quicker to just take the drive shaft off and replace the cv boot

I think he know that Richard and just wants to replace the whole drive shaft including CVs.

I had a quick look and can't see anyone over there that does them. I'm sure someone would though but they may be cheap chineses ones. Better of replacing boots on the Toyota originals if that's all they need.

Roughtrax and Milners seem to only have the outer CV and that is £74.00 as opposed to boots at under £10.00 each.

Cheers guys -looks like just the boots it is then.

I'm a transplant from Canadia and over there the driveshaft is what you'd call the prop shaft here, and the axle (solid or otherwise) runs tranversely. Sorry for the confusion.

Out of curiousity -it seems that only outer CVs and inner/outer boots are available - what happens if you damage the inner CV?
