    Hi all
Been quite some time since i was here, and now i need a little advice
Had MOT today and it only failed on number plate bulb, which was cool
but when i was looking underneath i noticed that the gear box mount bolt through the middle of it was lose

its the gold one in this picture.
Is this normal ? ( i doubt it) but just want to be sure before i tighten it up or do anything silly

many thanks and hope your all doing ok

Bit of guess work here so I may be on the wrong track. If you look closely at the mount and imagine how it works, then the bolt cannot be too tight as it would compress the rubbers restricting movement. I think it has to allow up, down and side to side movement of the rubbers between the metal plates. I think I have seen mentioned somewhere, that the bolt is just a safety feature preventing the mount coming apart if the bonding between the rubber and metal fails. Check that the rubber is still attached to the plates.
