  • Crankshaft pulley replacement

Just had to replace my crankshaft pulley as the damper had become unbonded (if thats a word). Anyway, I tried to undo it with my snap on bar and broke the end of it off. Ii then borrowed a Torque Multiplier and tried again and managed to undo the bolt literally with one finger. It was so simple and makes light work of it. Just had to be careful in doing it up as it can snap the bolt easy. Just thought I would post this in case anyone else is struggling.

Nope, but i've done lots, its a nack.

My 20 year old Snap-On breaker bar hasn't let me down, but it often has a bit on tube over the end for extra leverage, its an amazingly built tool.

Yes, Mine had a jack handle over it when it broke but I have broken it before. The method I used was so easy though. Would reccommend it if you can get one.
