Brake Calipers 2.4/3.0

Hi Surfers,

Just a quick question. I have a lazy caliper on the front of my 2nd gen 3.0. I`m looking to overhaul both calipers this weekend. Just in case they are too far gone on either side, are they the same on a 2.4?

yes both 2.4 and 3.0 are the same

In case you are sourcing second hand make sure you aren't getting them from a pre-facelift 2.4 as they are different; as are the discs.

The post facelift 2.4 and any 3.0 are the same.

Just thinking, if you are buying new you need to be wary of the same thing as Roughtrax list both too.

Correct. The change was 8/'91. Bigger discs, calipers and different pads.
