  • Turbo fault symptoms?

    Hi,

Last weekend on a hill climb, I noticed a change in engine noise. I discovered the exhaust mid section had broken just behind the flexi-pipe bit.

It's getting replaced in a day or two, but the whining from what I assume is the turbo is now very pronounced - question is how would I know if the turbo was needing repaired replaced? I have noticed a bit of power loss in the lower gears, not sure if this is related to the exhaust failure.

    Any advice would be welcome.

    Thanks, Keith

Fix the exhaust first, you may be worrying over nothing.
