Something weird happening now

Hi Guy's
something weird has just today started happening.

When I switch off the engine after a run, the engine stops but the power to the dash, wipers and heater fan stays on for a couple of seconds, about 5.
Then there is a click of a relay down by the passengers feet and everything goes off as normal.

Just went out and tried it now its cold and everything normal.

I am running on an electric fan which comes on at about 87C but the temp gauge is always normal. Weather warmed up.. Rainy..

Any idea's????

Its stopped now.....
Everything stops straight after turning the key just as always... Weird...

Its back again today.
I am sure it is related to outside temp.
Yet the temp gauge reads normal.

The car is working fine except for my solenoid problem which I haven't got round to doing yet.

Could be the contacts on the back of the ignition switch. Had this before on other cars but not sure if the contacts are replaceable seperate to the barrel on a surf.

It doesn't appear to be contacts cuz the radio and other things switch off straight away.
Also it only happens when things are very hot (sun I mean) it hasn't happened since the weather changed also it always lasts the same amount of time, about 5/6 secs.
