Hello mate. No need to panic. These bits and bobs are merely general maintanence items. Dont for get the trucks age! Im sure you truck is fine. It may just seem like its falling to bits but it really isnt that bad. If your not drinking oil or loosing coolant and your steering and axels are ok then i would say your surf is in fine condition.
Right - I've taken all your advice and the plunge! I've ordered the roughtrax pads, discs and pin set - phew what a splash out session!
Andy if you're still on for fitting them I'd be eternally grateful. I think the bushes on my front suspension are knackered too and would really appreciate your opinion on whether or not it's worth replacing the whole suspension with the desert fox lift kit from roughtrax (and if that's all I'd need). The rear suspension looks like it's sagged too and last time it needed it's MOT the guy put gaffer tape on the bushes to stop them crunching - not ideal I know. I suspect my truck might be a heap of sh 1 t and it makes me want to cry.
Flipin heck, to say your skint you seem to be splashing out a bit.

Just 'cause I'm skint doesn't mean I can't dream Anyway I was only wondering if it would be worth it if my suspension is going to be gradually falling to bits - rather than lots of work in drips and drabs wouldn't it be better to do the whole lot in the oner? Just thinking about options though...
Alan, I've emailed you but not sure if you received. The parts arrived and I can make it over to you today if it's still convenient but i'm not sure where I'm going or what time's good for you? My email address is michael@tigerchick.com
