bull bar fitment,

lookignfor surf at the momnet so starting to collect acc's, will proberly end up with 2nd gen due to budget but need to know if big wrap bull fro ma 3rd gen will fit the mounting points on a 2nd gen??

i once went down that route,and bought a 3rd gen bull bar,simple answer is no,but can be made to fit with a welder

if you want a wrap bull bar
you will need to buy a surf with it on
they banned and it is ilegal to fit them
wrap round bull bar or the big bull bar what ever ya call em been banned a while now

i have the bull bar but it came fitted has standard so it stays

i thought if the vehicle had them as an option you were ok to retrofit them, just there not allowed to sell them new now, i've got a full wraparound bar on my 2nd gen which i believe came off a mk4 pickup, put it on to replace the original A -bar as gets used off road quite a bit

just an idea but if you decide not to try to cut & shut the bullbar to fit your second gen - I'm on the lookout for a full bullbar for my 3rd gen - just got the standard A bar (and I've already bent that)

if you are getting rid, how much do you want for it and any chance of a piccie or discription (are they full child catchers or juat an A bar).
