tyre and supplier recommendations

hi - I have 94' 3.0 SSR-X Surf and my tyres need replacing.

They are just the standard wheels (265/70/16 I think) and are intended for mainly road use, motorway up to 80mph.

price is a factor so I'd consider re-treads if someone thinks thats a sensible way to go.

Can anyone recommend a specific tyre to ask for and also a supllier/fitter in the North West (pref near Bolton if possible)

Your tyres should be 265/70/15 if they are standard as for make i had a set of 4 enduro HT fitted 2 years ago & ive done 40,000 "MILES" on them so far & the tread is about half worn so im expecting a few more miles out of them.

I do alot of motorway miles myself & find that they are totally up to the job.

Cost wise i payed £72 each, thats fitted & ballanced, i can't comment on any others cos ive never had to replace then.
