Up and over tailgate = 3rd Gen

Drop down tailgate = 2nd Gen

Well lets start with the obvious.

You've changed the transmission oil, CHECK.
(Is it at the correct level) i.e engine at running temperature, truck on a level surface & gone through the gears a few times to fill the pumps, then checked its at the HOT mark.

              You've changed the coolant, CHECK.

Did you change the thermostat as well & are you 100% sure you got all the air out of the system, sound to me as if there is still air inside or a leak cos you've been topping it up.

                      Hi Hodgi,

Fill in your profile correctly, it helps us to diagnose probs better.

Now, when towing, are you uphill?
                      Have you changed the thermostat?
Have you bled the cooling system?
How much water does it use? if any.
Have you checked the auto fluid levels?
Leeds to Selby is near flat, should'nt have
any probs, Flushing radiator might help,AIR LOCKED?

                      Hope this helps.

                      Gman.
