  • What's this Box on the Air Duct

    Hi all
just guessing what can be the function of this triangular box (marked in red) on the air duct connecting ait cleaner with the turbo. Does this thing has some kind of a filter or can this be opened to clean?

    Ideas awaited.
    Thanks

Probably a resonator to reduce the induction noise. Some 2.4s have them under the front wing just before the air filter.

they normally are called a resonator, it cuts down vibrations and pulses in the air flow to the engine/turbo for a smooth supply of air.
