  • Autobox & Flash Codes Woes...

Hey all, just recently my sisters '93 SSR-X has started holding onto gears too long. I've checked the gearbox oil and topped it up (was only slightly low and unburnt), and checked and cleaned all the earths i could find under the bonnet and inside by the fusebox.

I discovered a bared wire leading to the ECU which was taped up, and i found on here about how to get the flash codes up and this is where my problem lies.

When i short the diagnostic socket, i get both the engine check and o/d off lights flashing constantly, with no break. Umm, help??? . Also tried disconnecting both batteries with no effect.

Make sure the O/D button is pressed in when checking for codes.
