Exhaust help please 3.0 auto.

Hi.
I need the last 2 sections Which I think are EX024 and EX025 parts.

My qustions are:
Why does EX025 for the AUTO have another back box and the manual is straight through?

Would there be any harm in having a stainless straight through single exit exaust from made from the EX023 (flexi pipe section) back? Is there certain backpressure required?

Diesels couldn't really give a toss regarding back pressure. As long as you have it silenced to legal levels, design to your hearts content.

I have got a complete 3.0l exhaust here for the 1995 2nd gen and i'll post the complete system for £120 the exhaust is near enough new apart from the down pipe that is.Let me know if you want it and i'll sort it out Wednesday as thats the earliest i can do it for at the mo

Most after market tail pipes don't have the back box fitted as its not required over here

I got a stainless one made at "Power & Performance" in Honingham. Sounds nice, cleans up well and carries a lifetime warranty. I can't recal what I payed, but do a search on here, then use the average price as a yardstick for negotiations as I [believe] such places are akin to Morrocan Souks

to chip in, I got the rear section from a specialist dealer in Belfast after trying 6 or 7 other dealers and factors nearer by. The old one had the rear box on it. They listed the one without the box as for the KZN185 (3rd Gen), with a box as KZN130 (2nd gen). I've got a 2nd gen, but the boxless one fits grand, is simpler, cheaper and lighter, and has less joints to rust at.
