ECU Required, advise needed

Afternoon all,

Need to replace the ECU in the Surf and have been offered a slighyl different numbered on.

Mine is a 89661 - 3D100, 175800 - 1312 -12V

The one I been offered is 89661 - 3D100, 175800 - 1313 -12V.

Does anybody know the 1313 makes a difference and if this one will work?

i have sold several ecus and not all of them have had the same numbers.Everyone that has had one have had them fitted and working fine.
What price have you been quoted.I wouldn't pay more than £100 to £110 plus delivery for it.This is what i charge for the 3.0 ecu's when i have them in

Thanks all,

Just found one, exact numbers, for £130, including delivery. Fingers crossed that was the problem.

The other number was slightly cheaper.

Changed ECU and all now OK. So to help and future searches, the problems were:-

enginer turns over fine, but doesn't start.
no dashboard light for Engine and glow plugs on start up.
no power to glow plugs.
no power to fuel pump.
power ok to ECU.

One quick question, I have started using oil and diesal mix for the past 4 months, could this have caused this problem?

Fuel grade cannot cause an ECU failure.
