Strange sound

Ok heres one for you guys, my Surf seams to have developed an unusuall sound when turning. The sound seams to come form the left hand passengers side, possibly bellow the passenger seat area. Basically I would describe the sound as a sliding sound like a glass sliding across a bar top in the pub, or perhaps liquid sloshing from one end of a sealed vessel to the other (not the gas in the tank though, a much smaller vessel). Its a short sound like... sliiiiip, almost like a bead sliding on an abacus or an object in a short section of tube. To be honest at first I thaught it was something in the boot or under the seat untill I checked it out and realised it didnt go away. The car is working perfectly I have never had a fault with it, and could not fault it at all, but this strange sound has started in the past few months. I'm not overly stressed about it just wonder what it can be, any one have any ideas? Thanks Jim

I have come across a similar problem before & it took some tracing, it turned out to be a stone that had flicked up & was rolling along between an outrigger & rail/bar, I don't recall the vehicle but I do recall it took us bl00dy hours to trace it.
