Hallo people, my insurance is due renewal and the price quoted is a bit on the steep side!! Does anyone have a good value insurance company that they could recommend? (standard uk spec 1994 diesel 4runner) CHEERS EARS!!

I do mine with Tesco. I'm not sure how the price compares with other companies, because to be truthfull, when I first got my truck [about five years ago] they were one of the few insurers i enquired with that didn't have an issue with imports. I pay something in the region of £450:00 fully comp, and with a courtessy car thingy/protected no claims thrown in.
A friend of mine recently insured an imported hilux with the National Farmer's Union and it came out cheaper than mine, like for like cover.Comment

Oh but I have limited mileage restriction and the maximum of 5 years no claims applied for that price. No mods either.Smack it with a 16lb Hammer and it will come off!Comment

my insurance is with a-plan at thatcham ,the insurance company is groupama the same as for my 4ltr soarer neither of them are over £250.00 fully comp,protected no-claims,glass etc.Comment
