  • heat in the footwell?

    hi chaps

has anybody else got a lot of heat coming from the gearbox "tunnel" it seems quite hot on the carpet on the passenger side next to the change lever, and heat seems to be comin from the backof the consol at the bottom?
heat lever for the blowers is set to cold.

im new to these trucks so this could be pretty normal!

    thanks in advance

Maybe your heater cable is tight... They use to come a bit loose so you've to take it to the max heat and then back to desired position but maybe yours it's the opposite thing...

Could just be heat from the box itself. Its fairly normal, though if your ATF is knackered, it could be hotter than usual.

Mate, it is pretty normal to have high heat there. Here in Australia, during summer and on a long trip, the air conditioner works its guts out to maintain a reasonable temperature in overcoming that tunnel heat.
