Hi,
I've been meening to post this question for a while.. but as a new surf owner i've had more presing modifications and customizations to post questions on. Anyways here go's, is everyone else's extra wing mounted mirror aimed in a useless position? The only purpose mine serves is letting you kmow if a kangeroo is snapping at your front wheel nuts! I could see its purpose if it was directed at the blind spot, but its not adjustable and definately not at the blind spot? Any ideas as everyone questions me on its purpose? Cheers Jim

Mine sounds pretty similar to yours, it's meant to be a parking mirror so you can parallel park easier, it only seems to help me if i want to park 3 feet from the kerb.

There are 2 more uses

1) Hang your towing strap on it when offroading

2) Hang the dog lead over it the keep there without having to tie the leash

ps just thought of a 3rd, you can use it to aim for puddles positioned by ramblers in green lanes

the 2nd gen mirrors aren't adjustable,well the ones on the breakers i have had aren't adjustable anyway
