  • Snaking under braking

Hi, on the way to work this morning I was forced to stop quickly. When i applied the brake it pulled really heavily to the left, when I released teh brake it straightened up. The brakes also felt quite week, it felt like I had to apply a lot of pressure to the pedal for the little amount of braking I was getting.

Any ideas? Best guess is I think I have a sticky caliper. Also I know my tracking is slightly out but it hasnt been an issue before and I am getting that sorted this weekend. I have limited time at the weekend (moving house!) so I want to see what people think then hit it Friday night and get it fixed.

I had similar symptoms....found calipers siesed and disks worn changed the lot, got from roughtrax. If you are going that way its worth doing the bearings, bushes and gaiters at the same time
Did I mention I have a BLUE one

I'd check the caliper pistons all move freely, if one is tight, it won't release properly. So when you stomp on the brakes, this wheel locks up first.
