Thanks Tony.I knew you had pulled quite a load but just thought i would double check before i decide to hire the trailer again.I have got an oil cooler here from Jokers old truck so i may fit that just to help things along a bit.
I won't be in a rush to get home so i don't mind taking things steady and stopping every so often just to give the truck a bit of a rest,plus i will be traveling on the sunday evening/night after monster mania so the roads should be fairly quiet

I always hire a 3500kg flat bed or car trailer to move surfs around, you need a big trailer so you have room at the front to shift the truck forward enough.

Nice thing about Lindas truck on 33's and all the lift is it looks a bigger truck than the one your towing.

The trip to Spa was our annual trip overseas. We only do it due to the cost involved. So next year if you are up for it i`ll let you know.

Like I said mate, the cost is not cheap, all the guys are just your average working class petrolheads hence the reason for one trip a year.

I regularly do track days at Donnington Park but expect those costs to rise now they have secured the F1 GP contract.

Sorry, but in my opinion you would definately be overwight here. Like I said before, if it looks okay you will probably get away with it but a Surf pulling a Surf looks a bit iffy.

simple answer to this would be, anyone who wants to tow a surf with a surf, just make sure the surf doing the towing has at least a 10" lift! that way the cargo will look much smaller and it wont click to plod that ur towing something that is actually the same weight! an optical illusion!

I recently towed a forklift on a plant trailer from cornwall to Gloucestershire, had to stop on a few steep hills to let her cool down.
gross weight of all when I got back and put it over the weigh bridge??????
6.5 ton yes 6500 kilos.
