Hello mate, was just wondering if your problem was permanently solved ?? Don't suppose you have any idea how much a replacement ECU would be ??

Yes till today the problem never reoccurred. Don't you have any electronic experts in your area? Best to pull the ecu from the dash and take it to them. In my area the cost for a used ecu starts from 400$ going upwards. So it's cheaper to just get an electronic guy to strip the faulty capacitors and things on there for less that 100$ I paid 40$ in 2009 when I posted this problem.
